Rejuran Before a Wedding in Seoul: How Much Time Should You Leave?

The short answer: leave room for recovery, not a promised glow date

If a friend asked whether to schedule REJURAN a few days before a wedding, I would say no. There is no research-backed number of days that guarantees settled skin or a particular photographic result. The exact product, injection area, amount, technique, previous reactions and whether this is a first session all change the visible recovery window.

An early consultation is more useful than choosing a treatment date from social media. The physician may recommend a trial session with enough time to observe your response, a different product or technique, a staged course, or no injection before the event. A fixed wedding date should reduce pressure to treat, not create pressure to stack procedures.

This guide is about planning, not predicting an outcome. It cannot tell whether REJURAN is suitable for your skin, how quickly injection points will settle or whether one session will make a visible difference in photographs.

What the PN evidence can—and cannot—tell an event planner

A 2026 systematic review found seven randomized trials with 183 participants across skin rejuvenation, postoperative scar prevention and wound healing. Four trials addressed skin rejuvenation. The authors reported encouraging findings and no serious treatment-related adverse events, but also emphasized small samples, mixed protocols and variable outcome measures. That evidence does not establish one wedding timetable or prove that every PN product performs the same way.

One randomized split-face study enrolled 27 people for the eye area and used three injections at two-week intervals, comparing a PN filler with non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid. Another prospective PN-HPT study used three sessions at baseline, four weeks and eight weeks. These schedules show why a course may extend beyond a short Seoul visit; they are study protocols, not a personal prescription and not proof that REJURAN requires the same plan.

A separate systematic review covering nine studies and 219 patients described the evidence as low or moderate quality, with variation in injection areas and techniques. The fair conclusion is that PN injectables are promising, while the optimal product, schedule and event interval remain insufficiently standardized.

Why recovery matters more than a last-minute glow promise

Le Moir Clinic's current REJURAN information lists temporary raised injection points, redness, swelling, bruising and pain among reactions to discuss. Their visibility can differ between the full face, eye area and other zones, and between hand injection and an injector-assisted technique. Makeup, lighting or editing should not be used to turn that variability into a zero-downtime claim.

A PN-HPT expert consensus—not a REJURAN product label—describes local injection-site reactions as the most common adverse events and notes erythema, burning and occasional small hematomas in clinical practice. The same paper discloses industry relationships and relies partly on expert judgment, so it supports a cautious recovery discussion rather than an exact countdown.

If this is your first injectable, leave enough time for the clinic to see an unexpected reaction before you travel onward or enter a tightly scheduled wedding week. Ask who can review photographs, who provides in-person care in Seoul and what information you will receive if another clinician needs to assess you later.

REJURAN is a family of products, not one interchangeable wedding treatment

Le Moir Clinic lists REJURAN, REJURAN HB Plus, REJURAN I and REJURAN S and explains that their formulation and intended treatment discussion differ. Its current information describes REJURAN I as an eye-area option and HB Plus as containing PN with hyaluronic acid and lidocaine. A box name alone does not decide the area, amount, depth or schedule.

Tell the physician about fish-family allergies, lidocaine allergy when relevant, medicines, bleeding or bruising tendency, immune conditions, active skin problems and every recent injectable or energy treatment. Bring the date, product and treated area from previous sessions. If the exact product or prior reaction is unclear, that uncertainty belongs in the plan.

Ask whether hand injection or an injector is proposed and why. A device can help deliver a planned pattern, but it does not make every point identical, remove anatomy-related risk or guarantee that papules and bruising settle by a chosen day.

Build two calendars: the treatment course and the wedding logistics

The treatment calendar should show the consultation, any trial or first session, the planned reassessment and the decision point for further treatment. The wedding calendar should show travel, fittings, makeup trials, photography, outdoor events and the last day when an in-person review remains practical. Keep the two calendars separate until the physician explains how they can safely fit together.

Do not assume that completing more sessions closer to the event creates a better result. Published PN studies use different intervals and outcome dates, and a delayed benefit cannot be rushed by compressing a protocol. An important event is also a poor time to combine several new treatments simply because they are offered in one city.

For an overseas guest, a sensible plan includes an English product record, lot or batch information when provided, treated areas, amount, technique, written aftercare and an urgent contact route. The U.S. CDC's medical-tourism guidance recommends planning follow-up care and carrying medical records after overseas care; that principle matters even when the procedure is elective and minimally invasive.

When waiting is the more event-friendly decision

Wait and seek assessment if there is an active skin infection, spreading redness, an unexplained lump, a recent significant reaction, fever or another condition that may affect healing. Elective injectable treatment should also be deferred when pregnancy or breastfeeding, allergy history, medicines or a medical condition cannot be assessed appropriately.

After an injection, contact the treating clinic promptly for worsening pain, heat, spreading redness, drainage, fever, blistering, unusual color change or a persistent firm lump. Sudden vision change, severe pain, weakness, facial droop or difficulty speaking requires urgent medical attention. This guide cannot distinguish expected recovery from a complication online.

The kindest answer before a wedding may be to protect the skin you already have. If the available window is too short for a first treatment and follow-up, choose consultation and records now, then decide on treatment after the event without a deadline shaping the medical judgment.

• Ask what visible reactions are expected and what would be unusual.
• Keep time for an in-person review before onward travel.
• Do not add another new injectable or energy treatment without a clear rationale.
• Request an English record and a follow-up contact before leaving Seoul.
