Ultherapy Prime vs Thermage FLX: different energy and treatment units
Ultherapy Prime delivers focused ultrasound at selected tissue depths and uses real-time ultrasound imaging to visualize tissue during treatment. Thermage FLX delivers monopolar radiofrequency to heat tissue through a different energy system.
A line is one placed ultrasound treatment line; a shot is one activation of the Thermage system and tip. They are device-specific units, not a shared measure of strength, quality or value. 600 lines cannot be converted into 600 shots.
The correct comparison includes the face and neck areas, cartridge or tip, total count, physician-designed treatment map, comfort plan, tax and review—not the largest number on a menu.
Which is better for lifting or tightening?
